Southern Events is a special occasion rental and event planning company with more than 30 years of experience.   Whether you’re planning your wedding, large corporate event or small intimate affair, we have many quality items to rent for your special occasion.   Southern Events is a family owned business.  We strive to bring you the highest quality of customer service available.  

We are located in Camden, South Carolina but serve all parts of South Carolina.

Wedding Packages

The "Wedding Director"

We will meet with the bride and groom to help coordinate your special day.  We will organize and direct all aspects of the rehearsal and the wedding. 

The “Wedding/Reception Director" 

This includes the “Wedding Director” package plus we will organize and direct the reception. 

The “Weekend Coordinator”

This includes the “Wedding/Reception Director” package.  It also includes a time line and coordination of your vendors for the weekend. 

The "Wedding Consultation"

This includes the “Wedding/Reception Director” package plus additional meetings and phone consultations to help coordinate and give vendor referrals and recommendations.  We will organize a schedule for the weekend and follow up with vendors to ensure they are providing contracted services.

The "Wedding Planner"

This includes the Wedding Consultation package plus budget planning to control your overall costs, time line management, vendor referral and management, venue selection, quotes for rental items, music, transportation, coordination of design and decor planning, in addition to many other aspects of planning your wedding. 

The “Day of Consultant"

We will meet with the bride and groom or host to coordinate and organize all aspects of the reception to include deliveries and set-up. We will be on site to meet the first delivery and will remain on site until the reception begins to ensure a smooth transition.
